1. About Us

Metatopisi is the Greek word for constant shift, relocation or displacement in the same way as the wind would move a sand dune; grain by grain.
It describes the act of moving something, or someone, from one place, position, or state to another.
This is our analogy for life long learning. Not something that happens quickly; not something that happens once; but rather small consistent changes over a long period that result in changes so big that they were barely imaginable at the start or the journey.

Metatopisi is an online retailer of educational toys with a holistic approach. We sell MESH, STEM, Literacy and Numeracy toys and puzzles ("Products") to the South African market. We believe all play leads to learning and all areas of a person should be developed throughout different ages, from toddlers to teenagers and into adulthood.

2. Eligibility

To use our Site and purchase Products, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent.

  • Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR/R).

  • We accept payments via credit or debit cards, EFT, PayFast, Zapper and MobiCred.

  • Your order is confirmed only once payment is received in full.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver within South Africa only.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout.

  • Risk of loss passes to you once Products are delivered to your nominated address.

5. Returns and Refunds

We comply with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

  • You may return unused and unopened Products within 7 days of delivery for a refund (excluding shipping).

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our Site, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Metatopisi and protected under South African copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.

  • Age appropriateness of a toy should be carefully considered and children should be supervised during play.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to a Product shall not exceed the purchase price paid.
