Delivery & Shipping Policy
At Metatopisi, we want to make life long learning fun and accessible. To ensure your educational toys reach you safely and on time, please review our delivery and shipping guidelines below.
1. Delivery Areas
We deliver across South Africa, including major cities, towns, and regional areas. Unfortunately, we do not currently ship outside of South Africa.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Major Cities & Metros (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth): 2 – 5 working days
Outlying & Regional Areas: 3 – 7 working days
Remote Areas: Delivery may take up to 10 working days
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, load-shedding, strikes, or peak holiday periods.
3. Shipping Fees
Flat Rate Shipping: R90
Free Shipping: Orders over R1000
Some oversized or bulky items may incur an additional shipping fee, which will be calculated at checkout.
4. Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1 – 2 working days after payment confirmation.
Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Once shipped, you will receive an order number via email to follow your delivery.
5. Delivery Method
We partner with trusted courier services to ensure your package is delivered securely. Couriers deliver Monday to Friday, between 08h00 – 17h00. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee exact delivery times.
6. Delivery Instructions
If you have specific delivery instructions (e.g., gate codes, contact person, or safe drop-off spot), please include them at checkout. Our couriers will do their best to accommodate these requests.
7. Failed Deliveries
If no one is available to receive your order, the courier will attempt redelivery or contact you directly. Additional fees may apply for repeated delivery attempts or address changes after dispatch.
8. Damaged or Missing Items
We take great care to package your order securely. However, if your package arrives damaged or an item is missing:
Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at [support email/phone number].
Provide your order number and photos of the packaging/item (if applicable).
We will arrange a replacement, credit, or refund in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Public Holidays & Peak Seasons
During public holidays and festive seasons, please allow extra time for order processing and delivery due to high demand.
